SMS messaging & compliance
Text message program terms & conditions
When you submit a quote request through AutoWarrantyExperts.ca and include a mobile number, you agree to receive text messages from us about that request: the quote itself, follow-up on the options we sent you, requests for information we need to finalize coverage, inspection or appointment reminders, and customer support. We do not use your mobile number for marketing unrelated to your request.
Opt-in & consent
- Consent to receive text messages is given when you submit a quote request that includes a mobile number. The consent language appears beside the submit button, and the date and time of your submission is retained as the record of that consent.
- A quote or estimate you have requested is sent under the exemption for requested quotes in Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Related follow-up within six months of your request is sent under the implied consent that arises from your inquiry.
- Where express consent is required — for example, to keep sending you updates once your request is more than six months old — we will ask for it by text message and will send those messages only if you reply to confirm.
- We comply with CASL, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA), and applicable wireless carrier requirements.
Opt-out instructions
You may opt out at any time by replying "STOP" to cancel SMS communications. After opting out you will receive a final confirmation message, no further messages will be sent unless you re-subscribe, and opt-out requests are processed promptly.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies depending on your warranty inquiry status, service activity, and customer support interactions.
